With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Marie Gehring of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katherine Marie Gehring to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her sister Nancy; and her parents, William Roark and Helen Roark (Petersen). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Gehring; her children, Brad Gehring (Stephanie) and Adel; her granddaughters, Amber and Olivia; her daughter Michelle Steining (Jerry); her grandchildren, Lucas and Lexi; her children, Jen Parrish (Joe) and Clare; her grandchildren, Gabe, Miranda and Lydia; her daughter Joy Johnson (Brent); her granddaughters, Emma and Grace; and her sister Barb Westling. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (400 S 13th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family who will contribute to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School and the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
