Joyce A. Groff Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2021, at the age of 93, Joyce A. Groff of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Newell, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lane and Wilma Lane (Witzke); her husband Don Groff; and her siblings, Howard Lane, James Lane, John Lane and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Maas (Bill) of Orleans, Iowa and Donald Groff (Rheta) of New Prague, MN; and her grandchildren, Shane Maas (Brenda) of Clive, IA, Kristie Schwarz (Eric) of Waseca, MN and Kerrie Oetter (John) of Chaska, MN. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and their children, and numerous friends.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced.
She was also a member of the Cherokee Business and Professional Women's Foundation until her retirement, and is a current member of the statewide IPERS Improvement Association.
