He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Ulstad and Helen Ulstad; and his brothers, Jeff and Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Janelle Carstensen (Alex) of Fort Dodge and Allison Zuspann (Jerid) of Duncombe; his grandchildren, Hailey Carstensen, Hayden and Mason Zuspann; his brother Joel Ulstad; and his father-in-law Dale "Red" St. John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
