He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Sitzmann and Dolores Sitzmann (Kommes); his brother Joseph Sitzmann; and his nephew Blake Sitzmann. He is survived by: his sons, Tristan Sitzmann and Payton Sitzmann of Fort Dodge, Iowa; his siblings, Duane Sitzmann (Kaye) of Sioux Center, Ray Sitzmann (Shelly) of Le Mars, Blaine Sitzmann (Wendi) of Clermont and Brenda Kolbeck (Brian) of Le Mars; his nieces and nephews, Haley Rozeboom (Ross), Mandy Sitzmann, Colin (Risa), Devin, Linden, Lauren Sitzmann, Landon, Winston Sitzmann, Josie, Alyssa, Nathan and Breanna Kolbeck; and his friends, Kurt Anderson of Sioux Falls and Tom Miller of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is also survived by his sons, brothers, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions may be made in John's name for his family to use at a later date.
