We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 73, John Douglas Spillman of Fort Dodge, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Spillman and Beverly Spillman (Albright); his stepdaughter Carrie Bishop; and his grandson Kinnick Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Julie Millea of Fort Dodge; his children, Jeremy Spillman of Des Moines and Jamie Spillman of Grimes; his stepsons, Jason Bishop (Stephanie) of Fort Dodge, T. J. Bishop (Tiffany) of Fort Dodge and Kyle Bishop (Ashley) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Madelyn, McKenna, Max, Teryn, Devyn, Jocelynn and Evelynn; and his siblings, Robert Spillman (Claudia) of Fort Dodge, Gary Spillman (Cheryl) of Hastings, MN and Sandy Johnson (Lonnie) of Lehigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved dog.
