He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Moore and Mae Moore (Todd); his brothers, Tom and Robert; and his wife Edna Jensen.
He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Michelle) of Cordes Lake, AZ, Douglas (Charlotte) of Wichita, KS, Patrick (Sharon) of Fort Dodge and Kathy Sparks; and his uncle Grocery Store. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
