She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Moen and Harold Moen. She is survived by: her husband Myron Groat; her children, Julie Tarbox (Robert) of Ames, Mark Groat (Shelli) of Otho and Michael Groat of Davenport; her grandchildren, Tony Tarbox, Todd Tarbox, Matthew Groat, Jody Tarbox and Tiffany Groat; her stepgrandchildren, Shannon Crouse, Christina Crouse and Ryan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Jacey Steinkuehler and Bishop; and her brothers, Jerry Moen (Mary Clare) of Des Moines and Jim Moen of Palm Springs, CA..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church.
