He is survived by: his children, Tyler Crooks (Artemis) and Jimmie Crooks, Jr.; his siblings, Johnnie Crooks, Jr., Cintrenell Cox, Barbara Crooks (Dedric McZeal), Chrisstine Rocha (Carlos), Marylin Hameed (Linwood Cork), Bernice Pepper (Chester) and Christine Howard; his close friend Sheri Ault; and his former wife Ann Stalzer.
