He was predeceased by: his father Gary Smith; and his grandparents, Paul, Gerry Smith, Jerome and Marvelous Nedved.
He is survived by: his wife Rochelle Henke; his mother Bonnie; his stepbrother Michael Smith (Mary) of Des Moines; and his aunts and uncles, Lynn Merrifield (Dave) of Colorado Springs, CO, John Nedved (Martie) of Pocahontas, IA, Coleen Jones (Roger) of Omaha, NE and Sharri Hansen (Darwyn) of Schaller, IA. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
