It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M. Cartee (Fort Dodge, Iowa), born in Clarion, Iowa, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Christine; her grandson Mike; her sister Janet; her parents, Lyle Luke and Geraldine Luke (Lamer); and her husband Larry Cartee.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Dodge (Marshall) of Gowrie, Ed Black (Carla) of Gowrie, Cathy Bell (Roger) of Gowrie, Cheryl Smith (Mike) of Gowrie and Greg Black (Stephanie) of Gowrie; her stepchildren, Sherri McLuckie (Brian), Fort Dodge of Gowrie and Steve Cartee; and her sisters, Judy Huegal, Joyce Taylor, Joann Allan (Les) and Fort Dodge. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
