She was predeceased by: her husband Paul D Balm; her son-in-law Curt Shipman; her parents, Charles Peed and Helen Peed (Mozena); and her sisters, Patricia Sedlock and Juanita McHenry.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Shipman of Phoenix, AZ, Paula Warner (Russ) of Litchfield Park, AZ, Dawn Segebart (Steve) of Dayton, OH and Kerry Balm (Mary) of Green Valley, AZ; and her sister Penny Lindstrom of Otho, IA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
