He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sr. McCrady and Luetta McCrady (Goetsch); his daughter Sue Ann Heinse; his granddaughter Stephanie Heinse; and his siblings, Walter, Robert McCrady, Donna Smith and Margaret Mueller.
He is survived by: his children, Tim (Luz Maria) of Lerdo, Mexico, Randy (Barb) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Gina Carlson (Tim) of Overland Park, KS, Tom McCrady (Debra) of Fort Dodge, Scott McCrady (Lori) of Cottage Grove, MN and Chris McCrady (Kristi) of Fort Dodge; his son-in-law Kurt Heinse of Danberry; and his wife Irene Ayala. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
