He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Kopps; and his parents, Howard Sheeley and Rowena Sheeley (Williams). He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Freese (Joe); his grandchildren, Lacey Sheeley and Hannah Freese; his great grandchildren, Addison, Mahtaya, Lakin, Ayvah, Javin, Atlas and La'Kiah; and his sister-in-law Sharon Kopps. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
