She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Millang and Elizabeth Millang; her sister Barbara Spykerman; and her pet Scooter. She is survived by: her husband Lowell W Cornwell; her daughters, Christine Cornwell of Fort Dodge, Shelly Sanford (Steve) of Fort Dodge and Lori Cornwell of Eden Prairie; her sister Pam Blake (John) of Marshalltown; her grandsons, Austin Sanford (Emma) and Nick Sanford (Sydney) of Cedar Falls; and her friend Brea.
Gweny's passions were her family, children, dogs and the Iowa Hawkeyes therefore in lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City or the Almost Home Humane Society of Fort Dodge.
