Bittner of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Flandreau, South Dakota, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hayes and Berneice Knutson (Watling); her husband Jack; her brother Don Benson; her stepdaughter Julie Hrdlicka; and her parents-in-law, John, Agnes Bittner, Frank and Linda Bittner.
She is survived by: her close friends, Sondra Thorson and Janet Portz; her children, Jodi Koppold of Denver, CO, Kerry Lowrey (Blake) of Fort Dodge, IA, Jami Shipley (Rob) of Dayton, IA and John Bittner (Julie) of Johnston, IA; her stepdaughter Kris Burns (Tim) of Fort Dodge, IA.; her grandchildren, Jacob (Miranda Fite), Sarah (Grey Clarkson), Katie, Bailey, Brooke, Samantha (Tim Young), Zoey (Yoel Kifle), Carson, Ryann, Jack and Anna; her great grandchildren, Elliot, William, Olivia and Matthias; her niece Shan Ray; and her nephew Shawn Bittner. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
