George Niemier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Niemier of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on June 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Niemier and Sylvia Klinefelter Niemier; his stepmother Laurabelle Niemier; his daughter Karla Sue Niemier; and his siblings, Norma Jean Ogburn, Darlene Preston and Dale Niemier.
He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Knack; his wife Gale Gibson; his children, Toni Vaughn (Dave) of Olathe, KS, Gail Dunn of Tacoma, WA, Paula Anderson (Kevin) of Knoxville, IA, Rhonda Gustafson (Roger) of Lehigh, IA and Rick Niemier (Jackie) of Marion, IA; his grandchildren, Bryan Vaughn (Julie), Alyssa Vaughn, Ashley Bratlien (Matt), Alexis Dunn, Carrie Condon, Sean Utley, Tammy Utley and Blake Utley (Lacey); his sister Diane Lutz (Jim) of Littleton, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Russell (Jim) and Keith Gibson (Diane). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In light of the pandemic, no services will be held.
