With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Hampton of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Hampton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick O. Hampton and Ruth E. Hampton (Trafton); his wife Vonda Kay; and his sister June Ann Winter of Northwood, Iowa.. He is survived by: his former spouse Wenonah Walters; his children, Greg, Gregory Hampton (Shari) of Clear Lake, Dianna Hampton Reynolds (Bob) of Richardson and Paul Frederick Hampton (Lori) of Mason City; his stepchildren, Cletus Taylor of Magnolia Springs, Nathan Taylor (Marsha Ryberg) of Osceola and Shawna Engeman (Dennis) of Rich Hill, Missouri; his brother David Hampton of Montevideo, Minnesota; and his close friend Bonnie Kay Barnett of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be followed by attendees.
