He is survived by: his children, Randy Carlson of Walker, Minnesota and Lori Rankin (Larry) of Pleasantville, Iowa; his foster daughter Tammy Buriak of Florida; his grandchildren, Jennifer Lee (Justin), Jason Ekstrom (Jenna), Mat Spicer (Ashley), Aaron Carlson (Chong), Hayley Rankin (Mitchell), Michelle Pennington and Eric Rankin (Leah); and his great grandchildren, Austin, Avery, Aiden Lee and Oliver Ekstrom.
