She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Johnson and Fay Johnson (Stewart); her son Don Bryant III (Rusty); her brothers, Charles Johnson, Sonny Andrews, Rylie Andrews and Beamon Andrews; and her former husbands, Don Bryant of Jackson, Mississippi. and James Merrill.

She is survived by: her son Mike Bryant; her grandchildren, Nicholus Bryant, Michale Bryant and Nathaniel Bryant; her children, Charles and Tina Lopez; her grandchildren, Charles M. Lopez and Amber Lopez; her children, Dawn and Kelly Taylor; her grandchildren, Justin Taylor and Micayla Taylor; her great grandchildren, Isabella Lopez, Noah Roderick, Rylie, Braden and Brixtyn; and her siblings, Carol Jackson of Columbus, Steve Andrews of Columbus and Vivian Norris of Picayune, Mississippi..
