It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Lester Scheer of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Primghar, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Scheer and Ethel Scheer (Anderson); his sons, Bart Scheer and Troy Lindner; and his stepdaughter Vicki Lane.

He is survived by: his wife Pat (Brehm); his daughter Shellee Ressler (Terry); and his stepchildren, Mark Border (Sheila) and Ann Marie Machovec (Keith). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
