He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Amman and Nona Amman (Allen); his stepfather Lavern Pommrehn; his grandparents, Peter, Josephine Amman (Meyer), Roy and Carrie Allen (Borton); and his parents-in-law, Athol and Doris Cuckie.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Cuckie; his son Scott Amman (Bess Worley); his grandchildren, Clara and Joey of Williamsburg, Virginia; his daughter Molly (Neil O'Hare); his grandchild NJ; his sister-in-law Ann Raschka (Joe) of Blaine; and also, Jeff Raschka (Jessica), Kaleigh, Courtney, Amelia, Ethan, Corbin, Jaxson of Hatley and Chad Raschka (Sarah, family: Zoey, Ramona).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church, Webster County 4-H Foundation, Alzheimer's Association, or American Cancer Society.
