He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hanrahan and Vera Hanrahan (Judith "Judy" Hanrahan); and his siblings, Ed, Jerry, Mick, Jack Hanrahan, Patricia O'Donnell, Bette Ruge, Donna Lessmeier and Virginia Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Hanrahan of Hedrick, IA, Joseph Hanrahan (Kathy) of Phoenix, AZ and Tamie Lunn (Kevin) of Fort Dodge; his sisters-in-law, Jacqulie Van Voovst (Tony) and Janet Hanrahan; and his wife Judith "Judy" Nolen. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
