He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lane and Viola Lane; his daughter Wendy Lane; his granddaughter Emily "Emmie" Greiman; his great grandchild CJ; and his daughter-in-law Debra Lane.
He is survived by: his children, David Lane (Kelly) of Coalville, Rodney Lane of Humboldt and Jody Berry of Fort Dodge; his stepchildren, Rhonda Dicus (Dan) of Fort Dodge and Rodney Tegland (Brandy) of Sac City; his son-in-law Rodney Berry; his siblings, Duane Lane, Mary Ann Foust, Barbara Powers, Daniel Lane and Francis "Frank" Lane; and his wife Deanna Dankel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
