He was predeceased by: his sisters, Darlene Preston and Norma Jean Ogburn; and his parents, Frank Niemier and Laurabelle Niemier (Cole). He is survived by: his children, Rodney Niemier (Cynthia) of Fort Dodge, Jason Niemier of Fort Dodge and Brenda McNealey (Jim Egemo) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Adam Niemier, Kyle Niemier, Ryan Hudson, Joel Hudson, Mikayla Peters, Keaton McNealey, Brady McNealey, Madison McNealey and Emily Weihs; his siblings, George Niemier (Gay) of Fort Dodge and Diane Lutz (Jim) of Littleton, CO.; his wife Jeannette Tappe; and his son Rod. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
