She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Henry and Nellie Henry (Dunning); and her sisters, Donna Henrickson and Karen. She is survived by: her husband Bud Handy of Fort Dodge; her children, Lucas Handy of Des Moines, IA and Elvira Handy of Lanesboro, IA; her goddaughter Tiffany Larson of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Carson Huffman, Emma Hernandez, Zophia Crisantos and Luciano Crisantos; and her sisters, Naomi Hiracheta of Fort Dodge, Sharon Grell of Fort Dodge, Linda Blair (Butch) of Webster City, IA, Deb Timm (Roger) of Pomeroy, IA and Brenda Paterson of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
