He was predeceased by: his parents, James Doughty and Evelyn Doughty (Helmick); his wife Dolores Kallansrud; his son Dale Doughty; and his sister Mary Canaday (Arlo Doughty).
He is survived by: his children, Katherine Doughty of Waterloo, IA and David Doughty (Stephanie) of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
