He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare and Agnes (Phyllis); his siblings, Ray and Marjorie; and his son-in-law Jon Ulstad.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Ulstad of Fort Dodge, Steve St. John of Fort Dodge and Jeff St (Linda); his grandchildren, Janelle Carstensen (Alex), Allison Zuspann (Jerid), Josh St. John, Jessica St (Jason), Jaci Fergison, Jenny Fergison and Jill Silcott (Chad); his sister-in-law Lois Rost (Harold); and his wife Phyllis Hedrick of LuVerne, Iowa.. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
