He is survived by: his children, Melanie Olson, Maria Lehman (Rod), Meridee Miller and Steve Powell (Jill); and his brothers, Kent Powell (Colleen) of Colorado, David Powell (Shirley) and Kevin Powell (June). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
