He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Helen (Jordison); and his siblings, Jeffrey Gernhart, Melissa Gernhart and Cyndi Fallon.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Harris; his children, Zane Gernhart (Corrine) of Lincoln, NE and Kara Stumpf (Justin) of Otho; his grandchildren, Ezra Zane and Parker; his siblings, Kathy Dahlstrom (Dennis), Susan Paul (Larry), Bill Gernhart (Peggy), Scott Gernhart, Lynn Swanson (Sven), Laurie Hotz (Dana) and Kristine Clough (Ron); and his brother-in-law Patrick Fallon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
