With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn JoAnn Johnson of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Storm Lake, Iowa, who passed away on April 19, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reynold E. Nordstrom and Evelyn M. Nordstrom (Coats); her husband Jacob L. Johnson; her daughter Geraldine Kay Johnson; her siblings, Geraldine Nordstrom, Donald Nordstrom, Jackie Appleton (Al), Patricia Sober and Evelyn Jones (Jack); and her brother-in-law Jim Freese.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Bussolari (James) of Sandwich, MA and Laura Crowl (Terry Cook) of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Katie Jergens of Lynn, MA, Matthew Jergens of Chicago, IL, Ryan Crowl (Jennifer) of Portland, OR, Stefan Crowl of Iowa City, IA and Ian Crowl of Fort Dodge; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Brooke and Mia; her siblings, Mary Freese of Albuquerque, NM, John Nordstrom (Barbara) of Texas and Ron Nordstrom (Marnell) of Fort Dodge; and her sister-in-law Earlene Nordstrom of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
