He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Oscar" and Marvyl Shipman (Hinton); and his daughter Brenda Shipman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Shipman of Fort Dodge; and his children, Randy Shipman (Roxanne) of Fort Dodge, Mark Shipman (Holly) of Denton, TX, Cindy Roberts (Dave) of Harlingen, TX and Kim Kesterson (Joe) of Denton, TX. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
