With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bonny Ann Hammer of Fort Dodge, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bonny Ann left this world on January 12, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid adieu to Bonny Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bonny Ann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Booge and Anna Booge (Kutz); her husband Darwin Hammer; her daughter Marcia Borer; and her siblings, Rozella Hartman, Joanne Kramer, Marge Lampe and Alan Booge.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Brown of Fort Dodge, Lee Hammer of Ankeny and Jan Green of Indianola; and her brother Bill Booge. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
