He was predeceased by: his father William Naylor; his son Samuel; his grandson Jakarri Naylor; and his brother Willie J. Naylor. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Green; his children, Naomi Naylor-Sims (Tiras) of Atlanta, GA, Samara Naylor of Fort Dodge and Silas Naylor of Fort Dodge; his mother Gladys Naylor; and his siblings, Bill, Alvin, Leonard, Nathaniel, Lois Wilson (Gary) and Bessie. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
