She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Canfield and Fern Canfield (Sayers); her sisters, Wessie Woodruff and Janet Everman; her husband Nick Ewing; and her son Nels Syferd.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Shadboldt (Larry) of Escalon, CA and Randy Syferd of Fort Dodge; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Syferd of Kimberling City, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
