It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. McGhee of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Nancy Heun of Napa, CA.; her husband George McGhee; her parents, Ross Martin and Emma Martin (Johnson); her siblings, Ruth Dilges, Ray, Roy, Robert and Ralph Martin; and her granddaughter Megan Boggs.
She is survived by: her children, George McGhee, Jr. of Fort Dodge, Ellen Vit (Tom) of Fort Dodge and Sherry Boggs (Mike) of Rockport, TX; her grandsons, Dan Boggs (Bronwen), Luke Boggs (Maggie) and Cory Williamson (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Michael, Emma Boggs, Gavin Boggs and Calvin; and her great great grandchild Amelia.
