Becky Lynn Petersen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Becky Lynn Petersen of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Preston and Janet Preston (Sorensen); her stepfather Robert Gene Thorn; her brother Billy Gene Preston Jr.; and her nephew Branden Wayne Preston.
She is survived by: her husband Allan Petersen; her children, Mandi Preston (Alan), Brent Petersen (Bridgette) and Beth Hinners (Joe); and her sisters, Brenda Schnetter (Sheldon) and Kelly Boeckholt (Junior). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home (923 1st Ave S, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church (239 N 11th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
