She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Bear and Dena Bear (Eilers); her husband Don Hanson; and her siblings, Edward Bear, John Bear and Ruth Fisher.
She is survived by: her children, Don Hanson (Geri) of Iowa City, IA, Kurt Hanson (Debi) of Washington, IA and Marilyn Yoder of Kalona, IA.; and her sister Marylou Rice (Frank) of Ackley, IA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friendship Haven, First United Methodist Church of Fort Dodge, Otho United Methodist Church or the Fort Dodge Community Schools Foundation.
