He was predeceased by: his sister Lois Dencklau; his parents, Clarence Dencklau and Olga Dencklau (Rossow); and his wife Jeannette Hanson. He is survived by: his children, Mark Dencklau (Kathy), Mike Dencklau (Lisa) and Gwen Miller (Elmer); and his siblings, Donnie C. Dencklau and Lila Schafer. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
