He was predeceased by: his mother Olianna Vinnas; his stepfather John Vinnas; his sister Janice Smeby; his daughter-in-law Laurie Lee; his grandson Michael Lee; his son-in-law Pete Huber; and his great great grandchild Parker Thoma (Eugenia).
He is survived by: his children, Terry Lee, Marvin Lee (Maria), Tom, Rex, Barbara Huber and Susan Prosch. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa.
