She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Larson and Nettie Larson (Warland); her husband Alvin Askelson; her daughters, Janet and Karen; and her siblings, Charlene Hilstad (Chuck), Lloyd Larson (Carol), Alvin Larson (Emma), Glenn Larson, Irving Larson, Norman Larson and Howard Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Askelson (Nancy) of Humboldt and Marcia Askelson of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Cindy Vik (Greg), Laura Lange (Aric) and Brad Askelson; her great grandchildren, Collin, Landon, Braden, Weston, Brenna Vik, Lexi and Alyssa Lange; her siblings, Ellen Jane Lemberg of Humboldt and Duane Larson (Barbara) of Eagle Grove; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Larson of Badger, Joanne Melling of Fort Dodge and Lynda Larson of Papillion, NE..
