He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Sr. Rodriguez and Rebecca Rodriguez (Menchaca); and his son-in-law Melvin Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Abel III (Rocio) of Fort Dodge, Ricardo "Ricky" Rodriquez of Austin, TX, Lorena Rodriguez of Rockford, IL, Annettee Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, Antonio "Tony" Rodriguez of Eagle Pass, TX and Sulema Rodriguez of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Ricardo Jr., Jaylon, Beverly "Jeanette" Cardenas, Marcos, Leopoldo, Anthony, Aaron, Jayden, Nathan, Andrew, Heavenly, Carla, Cassandra, Guadelupe, Adriana and Marisabel; and his sisters, Enedina Garza and Sulema Hammock. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
