It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter A. Kriener of Fort Atkinson, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kriener and Mary Kriener (Kuennen). He is survived by: his wife Diane Soukup; his children, Deb Langreck (Kerri), Arlen Kriener (Annette) of Fort Atkinson, IA, Jeremy Kriener (Samantha) of Fort Atkinson, IA, Denise Zirtzman (Kurt) of Ryan, IA and Sara Shaw (Jake) of Nora Springs, IA.; his daughter-in-law Kaiya Kriener; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kalvin Langreck, Brad, Marcus, Jordan, Mitchell Kriener, Karter Kriener, Caleb Kriener and Gryffin Zirtzman; his stepgrandchildren, Krista Geuther, Abbi Vorwald and Shelby Fiala; his siblings, Anita Busta of Fort Atkinson, IA, Conrad Kriener (Kathleen) of Fort Atkinson, IA and Jerome Kriener (Madonna) of Fort Atkinson, IA.; his siblings-in-law, Anastasia Kriener of Fort Atkinson, IA, Rosemary Kriener of Fort Atkinson, IA, Karen North (Darrel) and Todd Soukup (Jan) of Waukon, IA; his daughter Annette; his siblings, Cyril, Ignatius Kriener (Pauline), Francis, Linus, Leo, Herman Kriener (Greta), Lawrence and Eleanor Mracek (Reuben); and his parents-in-law, James and Mary Soukup (Andera).
In consideration of concerns regarding Covid-19, social distancing and wearing of masks will be observed during both the visitation and funeral service.
