He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Meyer and Laura Mae Meyer (Vsetecka) of Fort Atkinson, Iowa.; his siblings, Virginia Cloninger, Charlene Schmitt, John Dale, Robert and William; and his father-in-law Ralph Wieling.
He is survived by: his wife Janice (Wieling); his children, Charles Meyer (Susan Olsen) of Lincoln, NE, Christopher Meyer (Anntonette) of Fort Atkinson, IA, Leslie Luft (Thomas) of Bellevue, NE and Jason Meyer (Heidi) of Ossian, IA; his grandchildren, Harmon Meyer, Victoria Meyer, Savannah Solheim, Bridget Meyer, Brittany Ward, Emily Luft, Wyatt Luft, Damon Meyer, Riley Meyer and Kaydn Meyer; his siblings, Carole Burke (William) of Waucoma, IA, Daniel Meyer (Jennie) of Garden Grove, CA and Peter Meyer (Marge) of Decorah, IA; his sisters-in-law, Charlotta (Raymond) and Dolores; his mother-in-law Magdalen Wieling of New Hampton, IA; and his aunt Ellen Riese of Colo, IA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
