He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Kuennen and Frances Kuennen (Schaufenbuel); his close friend Patricia Kennedy; and his siblings, Delbert, Richard, Victoria, Rosalie and Norma.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donald (Mary), Wilfred, Dennis (Janet), Allan (Pam), Leona (Tim), Marilyn (Dick) and Cora Lee (Tom); his former wife Betty Lowe (Paul) of Snellville, GA; and his children, Steve Kuennen (Deb) of Buena Vista, CO, Nancy Pederson (Curt) of Bloomington, IL, Brenda Bedenk (Mike) of Marietta and Tim Kuennen (Julie) of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Gaylord requested that donations be made to the American Legion Post 691 in St Lucas.
