It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Fischer (Fort Atkinson, Iowa), born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Gudvangen and Evelyn Gudvangen (Steele). She is survived by: her husband Jerry Fischer; her children, Tara, Lee Fischer (Kathy) of Fort Atkinson, IA and Jesse Fischer of Fort Atkinson, IA; her grandchildren, Sara, Kimberly, Ashley, Karleigh, Brendon, Connor, Landon and Izak; her sisters, Marlene and Carol Ann McClement; her half-brothers, Clarence Steele and Everett Steele; and her sisters-in-law, Venita Phillips and Mary Lou Bigler.
