He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his daughter Erica (Chris); his brothers, Dave (Mary) and Mike (Pam); his brother-in-law Andy Swenson; his nieces and nephews, Kari Olson (Shawn), Chris Hanna (Holly), Shauna Hanna-Nollin (Josh), Melissa Olvera (Chatta), Travis Rieck (Mary Jo) and Troy Rieck (Dena); his father-in-law Sid Swenson; and his close friend Brad Lawson.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schott Funeral Homes (505 N Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436).
