He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Campney and E. Lorraine Campney (Thompson); his wife Elaine Cole; his brother Arthur; his sister-in-law Jo Anne Campney; his niece Martha Jane Campney; and his great-nephew Timothy Cole.
He is survived by: his nephew Benjamin Campney (Beth) of Des Moines, IA; his niece Rebecca Campney Carver (Philip) of Coralville, IA; his great-nephew Joel Carver of North Liberty, IA; his grandchildren, Sherry Kirkes (Joshua) of Foster City, CA, Julie Kingland of Indianola, IA, Joel Damman (Kelley) of Melbourne, IA, Brian Damman (Emily) of Indianola, IA, Daniel Cole of Des Moines, IA, Isaac Cole of Clear Lake, IA and Lydia Cole of Clear Lake, IA; and also, Grayson Carver of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kevin Cole (Cherie) of Ankeny, IA and Lori Damman (Steve) of Indianola, IA. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
