He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Sr. and Lucille Monson (Philpott); his wives, Dorothy and Norma; his daughter Sandy; and his grandson Marly Johnson Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Monson (Sheryl), John Monson (Virginia), Paula Gaines (Bill), Darla and Thorson; his sister Darline Monson; his close friends, Steve Miller and Julie Miller; and his stepchildren, Trudy Folkerts (Larry), Jodene Bartleson (Gary), Rhonda King, Terrel Brock (Tammy) and John Brock (Dawn). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 32 great Grandchildren; and 4 Great great grandchildren.
