She was predeceased by: her grandparents, William, Caroline Hines, Sidney and Fay Farus; and her cousin Rebecca Casebolt Johnson.
She is survived by: her parents, John Farus and Mary Ann Farus; her siblings, Jennifer Eastvold (Andy) and Joseph Farus (Bethanie); her nieces and nephews, Olivia of Forest City, Elaina Eastvold of Forest City, Oliver of Forest City, Cecilia of Forest City and Henry Farus of Forest City; and her sister Suzanne Childs of Minneapolis. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (246 S Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church-Forest City (246 S Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436).
