He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Peterson and Clara Mae Peterson (Peterson); his siblings, Sondra Peterson, Shirley Stenersen, Karna Janssen, Roland C. Peterson and Lauren; his sister-in-law Janice; his siblings, Merlin Peterson and Delwyn Peterson; his sister-in-law Lynn Peterson; his nephew Michael Kane; and his nieces, Korby Herzog, Shelley Kane, Heidi Kane and Heather Davidson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Peterson of Britt, Duane Peterson of Forest City, Laura Peterson of Forest City and Leon Peterson of Forest City; and his siblings-in-law, Jill Peterson of Marseille, IL and Gene Stenersen of Lake Mills. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (246 S Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
